    Hi all,

I am looking for varieties of weeping maples to plant on the Sunshine Coast B.C. The location is ocean waterfront, full sun, and wind. Is there such a variety that would do well here?

    Thanks
    Dee

Neither is weeping though, but then again, I don't know of any maples with weeping branches, they just don't seem to go in for that mutation.

There are plenty of weeping varieties of Japanese Maples. None would be good for a sunny, windy, coastal site though. They resent the salt laden air and they are very susceptable to wind burn and sun scorch. Not ideal then!
Can't think of anything similar that may do the job. Sorry!

Also, how did you get this maple question posted in the conifer section?
