Last year I bought a Pink Chiffon clematis, which seemed to die. If the roots survived, when should I exspect to see new growth?

I would think you would be seeing growth on it about now or very soon. That cultivar is actully named 'Hagley Hybrid' in case you wanted to look up more info. The cold may have been too much for it if it was just planted. This was a harsh winter around here. Hopefully it will leaf out soon.

It looked like it had died last summer, but I was told there was still hope for it, so I was waiting to see how it would do this spring.
