Cherry afficionados may be shaking their heads if they read an article that has appeared recently on the Weather Network and elsewhere about how to tell cherry blossoms apart from - not plum blossoms - but magnolias. You wouldn't think it would be too difficult but, after all, they're both often pink.

Is it a cherry blossom or a magnolia? Here's how to tell

Well, that knocked out my sound. Refresh didn't work, but I managed to get it back in a new window.
That was not helpful too because she said cherries have five petals. Most of the ones opening from now on will have lots of petals. If you need help distinguishing cherries from magnolias, that could be confusing.
Anyway, she didn't show any plums.
