As I've had some very nice messages about this thread overnight, I wanted to post a few this morning from my sunny garden here in Southern England.
Red Flash, Starfish, Ornatum and Butterfly.

Don't think it's a cultivar. Had about a dozen small non standard looking circinatums in the Pacific North West section of nursery.
The cultivars they sell alongside the Japanese Maples.
Didn't see grafts on any of them, so unless someone did some layering of a wide variety of plants, some variegated, one with lavender leaves, big leaves, small leaves but none were the common green variety that they also sell though usually only in big pots.
Roundabout way of saying I don't know.

I have a 'Burgundy jewel' that has leafed out. The new leaves are more "burgundy" than yours. Photos tomorrow now...

Not a problem G, as I was saying to Alain earlier it really doesn't matter, as long as we are pleased with them.

Good morning, and it is a good one, no overnight frosts at last. Spring sunshine and a coffee in the garden time. Not bad at all.
So here are a few that caught my attention as the sun came up at just after 0500hrs this morning. Red Sentinal or Twombleys Red sentinel 201.JPG Westonbirt Orange 201.JPG Westonbirt Red 201.JPG Westonbirt Spreading Star 210.JPG
They are Red Sentinal or Twombleys red sentinel, Westonbirt Orange, Westonbirt Red and Westonbirt Spreading Star.

I just thought about my Pseudoplatanus Brilliantissimum as there have been some species posted this last couple of days. So here it is just starting to open a few moments ago, hot off the press so to speak.
It was fully close last night BTW.

    Autumn Moon and Ryusen:

The last three are of an Oridono Nishiki that I had delivered and planted in June of last year. It doesn't seem to have much variegation. A few of wisps of white on a couple of leaves. Is that normal for a youngster of his cultivar?

Good morning everyone, after reading J @dangerine49 post with some wonderful greens, I thought as a contrast I would post some reds from my garden today that are just coming out to play for another Spring..
OK, they will not all stay red, but you all get what I'm saying... lol.

    Good morning,
The landscape is coming along nicely.
Planted Viridis near the pond 3 days ago,
then Ornatum behind the stairs, and yesterday I added Ryu sei in the top corner near him.
I will plant Shin Deshojo in the background in the next days and maybe Shishio Hime or another one at the bottom of Ornatum (with enough spacing).

What a beautiful garden you are creating there I. The hard landscaping and your maples are perfect companions. A massive WELL DONE to you.
I look forward to seeing more updates over the coming months, as I'm certain other members will.

    Thank you D,
It is pleasing and really entertaining to try to create some harmony and plant maples that have been waiting in pots all the last year.
The more I plant, the more I enjoy waking up and having my coffee in the garden.
