At the beginning of the week I checked my cabbage and they were nice and green and just starting to form heads, but I found some eggs on the outside leaves, so I washed them away with a lot of water. This morning I found that the top leaf on each head of cabbage has turned brown and is wilted looking. Is this caused by all the water or do I have a problem of some sort. I just started gardening last year so really am a greenhorn at this.

Possible the water could have done it if it was high pressure, and/or much colder than the current air temperature

    Any chance of a photo?
