Just a few pics of my Bougainvillea that are starting to bloom. I currently keep them outside in as much direct light as I can give them and don’t give them any special treatment just watering and fertilizing once a month thru the summer. I do prune them to encourage more branching so that there will be more blooms. They are very tough sun loving plants.

Nice one Jo Ann. I like the old standard purple ones myself. I haven't got room for any yet, untill my bamboo addiction dies off LOL

    Hi Ed,

I've got 2 more of the variegated varieties Raspberry Ice and my most favorite, "Delta Dawn" that I got from Logee's. I'm hoping I can get them all in one group setting and take there picture if I get lucky and they all bloom together.

Over here they all bloom together in May, which would be just before our winter

    WOW!!!

Your guy's winter is in our summer. I never stopped to think about that. I learned something new today. I will definitely go do a little research on Australia.

Not only that, but I hear that when they pull the plugs in their sinks the water swirls backwards. Something to do with Kangaroos, I think...

...speaking of kangaroos, have you seen this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-ad_IT6SiU I would like to see a NASCAR race with a few interesting twists of fate like this.

Sorry, off topic. I just thought I'd pick on Ed today ; ) G'day mate!

SUNRIZE, the flowers are stunning! I've really got to build a greenhouse and add those to my wish list.

Our water goes the right way, its your water that goes backwards! ; )

That roo was sooooo lucky not to get skittled. Roo is quite nice to eat, if cooked properly. It is becoming more popular over here, as is crocodile, emu etc. No I'm not joking...
