    Invasive alien species? I think the seed mixes would have to be thoroughly checked.

    Agreed.
    According to the information provided in the article, Mr. Phillips (the environmental designer who came up with this idea) is aware of this danger and 'has formulated mixes for every state'.

    I know, I know, but I can just see my grandchildren buying them & lobbing them around
    at home & on holiday. The issue of invasive plants is pretty much a lost cause in most cases anyway.
