I must apologize off the top for not having any scholarly expertise to share with your much more learned online community. I understand you are busy and won't be disappointed if you can't personally answer my query about a fragrant alpine plant "genepy" used in food preparation and medicinal herb infusions. I have variously read that its proper name is artemisia mutellina, a. umbelliformis, a. glacialis, a. spicata wulfen and a. genipi and have heard it called "white genepy" and "black genepy." I'm confused as to which is most suitable and where to find it locally. It's a mild obsession that i'm willing to put considerable effort into. I can perhaps share experience and samples next year if i'm able to procure and cultivate this year. Thank you again,
    Tom
