We have a variegated kiwi vine which is absolutely beautiful when it is is leaf with all the different colors. I do prune it every year, but it is about 14' tall, growing up a trellis against a wall. I would like to prune it down to about 8 - 9' and am hoping that it will fill in (at the bottom area) so that there are more leaves in the bottom 4'.
Has anyone had experience with this. They seem to be very vigorous.
    Any info. appreciated.

Try it early next spring. No quotes around kolomitka as it is a species name rather than cultivar.

I suspected as much, but went with spelling poster used instead of checking elsewhere.
