Hey everyone, new guy posting here so be gentle on me! Does anybody know if it is possible to propagate Acanthus Spinosus from seed? What would be the best time of year to do this? Any help greatly appreciated!

Yes, seed will be successful. I've read some advice suggesting sowing in spring, others suggesting sowing in autumn, so perhaps someone with some experience might reply as to what works for them.

Thanks for the advice, Daniel. I might try an Autumn sowing and see what happens....if thats not successfull I 'll try again in the spring.

You could even try some root cuttings, if you want more plants for free ;)

Thanks Oscar...I will try some root cuttings as well. Will see which method works best.
