    Just going for the genus on this.

    I was so surprised to see the tag on it, at UBC BG, that I'm not even going to do anything tricky with the photo. If you get the genus, you win and I'll give you the species.

    Well, yes. Now nobody else gets to guess. I wouldn't have got it ever. Nadia guessed Rhododendron on the second guess, thinks it's not attractive at all but has looked it up and thinks it will be interesting when it flowers. I have to say, it's not very photogenic.

    Thanks for showing me that, Sheila. I thought I did a query on the name first to see if it was already commonly known on the forums and didn't find it. It comes up this time. Maybe I just imagined doing that, or typed it wrong in the query.

    I've added a photo to the Rhododendron stenopetalum 'Linearifolium' thread in the Photo Gallery to indicate the size of the leaves.
