    Hello,

I am new in Adelaide and found 5 plants and I don't know their names. I have no idea of the families and I am not able to look them up in my identify books.
All of them were growing at the coastline near Adelaide.

Hope anybody can help me with these plants,
    Thanks Sonja

    Plant 1: yellow flower
    Plant 2: purple thick leaves

    #3 might be Kalanchoe.

    Thank you for your response.
#1 = Gazania looks good! The description fits to the flower.

But I am not sure at #3, until now I haven't found anything that this could be a Kalanchoe. I will have a closer look in google for a Kalanchoe-species.

Maybe wait until the other Aussies are up and about. They're more likely to recognize these than the rest of us are.

#5 looks like a cotoneaster. Do you know if it smells?

Sorry, definitely not Cotoneaster for #5 - that has alternate leaves, not opposite as in the photo.
