This plant is bugging me. It looks a little like Calocephalus brownii (but isn't). Anyone know? Thanks.
I'd like to know what this interesting plant is too. Perhaps more information and more photos, closer up and farther away, would help. For example. Is it an indoor plant? Is it succulent? Does it ooze sap when broken? Does it have a smell? What do the flowers look like?
I stumbled across an illustration in Hortus of spikes of male flowers of Phoradendron serotinum (under Loranthraceae) and was struck by the similarity. Just a thought.

This a good match for the OP's plant. It's denoted as Ozothamnus scutilliformis on that site's catalogue. However that does not appear to be a valid name. Perhaps it is Ozothamnus scutellifolius. Available photos of Ozothamnus do not provide a definitive answer as to the plant's identity.
