After searching the web, magazines and other articles, I'm confused as to which zone I'm in here. I'm looking for some plants and am not sure which ones to look for my zone...

I'm in Agassiz, British Columbia. Thanx!!

You area is 8a or 7b in a bad winter. You should however get much more summer heat than areas nearest the coast.
A note about the above map - It has most of Vancouver BC listed as zone 6, where in fact it's largely zone 8a - 8b. There are no provisions for zones beyond 8a. Long time British Columbia gardeners all know the 8b / 9a gardens and the wonderful specimens in them.

Here's a more accurate reflection of what your south coast BC zones are. Map courtesy of Agriculture Canada Centre for Land and Biological Resources Research.
    Cheers, LPN.
