Hi I was at meijers last year about this time and bought a yellow tulip that was about to bloom. It bloomed and died so I dug it up for next year. It is time to replant it and There are two bulbs in the skin of the last one now and the roots from last year are still on there. Does anyone know if I have to take the old skin off and take the roots off or anything? Thank you
No i wouldnt take the old skin off .. you could maybe trim the old roots back a bit ... tulips are pretty hardy.. i would just plant it and watch it grow .. :) Marion
its inside in my room. It bloomed last year in a pot on my computer stand in jan so it should have been planted already. Thanks for all the help I didnt want to kill it.
LOL!!!!! I looked at it in its little cup in my room I was going to plant it but it dicided I guess that nature was too slow. It sprouted today and it has 2 different bulbs growing. So I guess it might have to be a indoor plant (thats ok with me). When it blooms I will try to post a picture of it.
