Identification: Tree Disease ID

    Need some input on the ID of the tree disease as shown in the picture. I believe it's either Annosus Butt Rot or Schweinitzii Butt Rot. The location is in Langley and the tree is a Douglas -fir. Note there are other dead or declining Douglas-fir in the area.

    Hi @Corey Plester
    A size estimate (e.g. diameter of the largest), how far up the trunk approximately (ie. base of trunk, breast height range or higher) and an underside shot would be helpful.
    So far this looks like fruiting bodies of Porodaedelea pini.
