Could you tell me what the average height of a Styrax Japonica trunk is? I need to know if my new tree will have enough clearance to walk under. Thanks for any information

Mature height is listed as 20 to 30 feet on some sites. However, it is compactly- and horizontally-branched -- it'll fill out and retain the branches at just above ground level to walking height. Unless you are going to prune it into a popsicle (not recommended), you may want to find a more suitable tree for that location and move your Styrax to a different area (also, these trees do not like compacted soils; too much compaction from stepping on the soil on their roots will lead to a poorly-performing tree).
