    Hi All,

I have two ponytail palms. The largest is quite mature and the small one is about 6 years old. Both flowered this year and the smallest / youngest, produced an enormous flower stem. Can this be cut off? Will the plant survive the removal of this flower head? It is hanging over a driveway and is being hit every time the truck goes in and out. Poney Tails 001.JPG
