prunning thyme?

    Should I cut off the spent flower of my thyme?

    Hi Marlene

    You can cut the flowers now (I would suggest take the plant down by 1/4 to 1/3 , in you area it should flower again in August)

    If you use it in the kitchen you might want to save the cuttings in a jar and add a little vinegar. the colour is nice and the flavor is great on a salad.
