pink dogwood tree

    i was wondering what type of fetilizer i'm supposed to use for my tree. and also is
    there anything special i need to do to assure it wiil continue to bloom pink? thanks

    Really you should sample your soil and have it analyzed. Ask Ohio Cooperative Extension for assistance. Tree will stay pink unless it is grafted on a white one that is allowed to sprout from below the graft and gradually take over, displace the pink scion. This won't necessarily happen, but if you start seeing white flowering branches among the pink some day, prune these out.
