I just got one for 10 cents ( as most of my plants cost) it just has no blooms. It has beautiful leaves and a nice 'stalk'? It has a nice shape, but anyways how should i take care of it so that it may bloom again? It has a moss/potting mix thanx!

Phaels tend to bloom in spring or fall, although they'll do it out of season if conditions are right. Place it on pebbles on a dish where it sits above water to give constant humidity. That potting mix should be damp like a wrung out sponge, not soaking in water. Pure sphagnum tends to work better in the greenhouse than in the window. You may want to repot in something not so dense. To induce flowering, give it lowered temperatures for a couple of weeks (Chilly windowsill works well). That's my best advice. Best light is bright shade (sounds odd, I know, but a sunny window with a sheer drape in front of it is ideal.) Or put it on the porch (shaded!) in May and give it an outdoor vacation. Many orchids respond really well to this.
