Peony Question

    I have peonies and am wondering what to do with the dying leaves and stems.... do I need to cut these back/off to the ground for the winter or is it best to let them die down naturally??? Thanks!

    I cut it all to the ground after 1st frost, otherwise too mess

    Assuming these are herbaceous peonies, then kome's advice is sound.
