we had fresh oysters for supper .would it hurt if i smashed them up and put them in my raised straw bale garden beds? i havent planted yet, soon though and i put some pure nitrogen in to aid in the straw breaks down .was told compost needs nitrogen to work better .dont know if any of this is true and was wondering if nitrogen fertilizer would make things acidic?
