mystery tree with beautiful fall foilage in NC

    This tree is in my parking lot at work and is absolutely stunning - anybody have any idea what kind of tree it is?

    I have attached pictures of the tree, bark, leaves from the front and back - hopefully somebody will know what this is...

    Not sure about the scaly bark but Pistacia chinensis produces similar leaves.

    Could it be a Raywood Ash. Again, the bark doesn't look quite right

    The leaves are alternate, so not an ash. Agree probably Pistacia chinensis.
