    I found a bag of these last week I hadn't planted yet. Used to be rare here, now it is easily acquired. Most unique feature within the genus is the broad leaves, hence latifolius.

    These guys thrive here for me. Apparently they are also known as Oxford and Cambridge because of the two shades of blue purple. Surely they are not blooming for you now? Here's a photo of some of mine blooming 24 April last year.

    It is a great species and it happily seeds around too.
