Just got a 2 foot calamondin Tree and was wondering if this is a good fertilizer to use in the summer and spring months?

Is the tree planted in a pot? I've heard the spikes aren't good for potted citrus, but maybe someone with more experience will chip in.

I suggest you use a high nitrogen, water-soluble fertilizer containing micronutrients. For example Miracle-Gro 24-8-16 or Plant-Prod 30-10-10.
