Appreciation: Intermediate pink Cymbidium

    I believe it might be the ‘Floripink Feline’ hybrid, but I could be wrong... Only 5 spikes this winter, but I am not complaining. When it decides to put on a show, it is spectacular.
    Buds photos are from today, the other two from previous winters.

    Just beginning to open. It is very late this year. But I am not complaining... I counted 6 spikes and 50 flowers total. Can’t wait for all of them to be in full display. Will post a picture.

    Three spikes were mostly open and I cut them for our dining room table. First picture is before I removed them, second is the cut flowers. They will last for about a month. And there are 3 more just beginning to open. Happy first day of Spring!

    I am planning to bring all my Cymbidiums outside this weekend, so I cut the remaining three spikes. I realized the colors are very similar to cherry blossoms.
