Identification: Identification of gift

Hi,
My wife recently received a plant as a gift and is trying to find out what it is (and how to take care of it). I have attached a photo. Can anybody identify it, please?

Phalenopsis orchid.

 

Phalaenopsis Orchid , but I'm not sure of the exact variety but I hope that leads you in the right direction.
