I have a weeping Podocarpus in my living room, which has been thriving over the two years since I acquired it.

However, I have noticed that many of the tips (last 1/4" to 1/2") of the leaf ends have turned brown and seem to be dead. This is not related to old growth and is quite extensive. There is no evidence of any insect or related problem, and we have examined the plant closely.

Could this be watering related and, if so, an indicator of too much or too little? I wait until the top 2" or so of the soil feels dry before watering, then I water liberally.

    Thanks

    Might be low air humidity.
