My album of fungi and mushrooms has been interesting to compile.

You can choose that album from this page where the link is obvious...

The images are my favorite part. And I only know a few names.

But, if anybody happens to visit my album, and knows a few names, feel free to offer a name or two if you would like. You can use the email on the contact, or post here.

I basically ignored fungi, until a couple of years ago, when I saw one that caught my interest. Now I look at the forest floor as well as at the trees when I hike.

One of my favorite early fall fungi- and delicious if young and tender!

I had a feeling they could be good. It was tempting to pick and bag them.

But it's not allowed there, and being near a trail, other people can really enjoy that kind of color near the trail while they hike.
