Hi! I bought an tiny elephant bush plant from a general store(?) a week ago and was wondering if I should be removing the soil it came in and replacing it with fast draining soil?

I’ve already repotted it into a terracotta pot (because I think it was started to get root bounded) but I’ve been reading that sometimes the soil in plants that come from non plant nurseries might not be the right mix for the plant. But I was wondering if it’s okay to do since I’ve already repotted it a week ago, would it be a shock to the plant to repot it again with new soil?

Also, there has been a few leaves that keep dropping and I’m not sure if it’s because of the change in environment?
