I have a brand new garden in the front of my house which swerves along the stone pathway to the front door from the garage. I need to plant low growing perennials/bushes that are deer resistant. I was wondering about lavender and heather. Any other suggestions would be grateful!

I don't believe there is anything considered deer proof. If a deer gets hungry enough it will eat any plant. However, as long as it has better alternatives it will likely leave some of the less palatable plants alone.
