Hi All, some time ago you helped me identify a flower I met in Lassen Volcanic National park in California. I am heading south today, and I have several flowers I'd love to identify and I'm not sure about them. can you help me please? the pictures here: a01+a02 (which is a01's fruit) - on the side of the road to the ghost town Bodie, in California (maybe Brassicaceae?) a03 - a thistle that was in the leftovers of the town itself (Compositae, Asteraceae?) a04 - near Mono Lake's south tufa basin (maybe Lamiaceae?) a05 - also near Mono Lake's south tufa basin (maybe Apiaceae?) a06 - again, Mono Lake's south tufa basin (Compositae, Asteraceae?) thank you very much
a01/a02 - Epilobium from Onagraceae, looks like E. brachycarpum. Check whether it is taprooted. a04 - Monardella sp from Lamiaceae, many species.
It's hard to tell from the photo, but for #5, you might compare to Lomatium spp., such as L. dasycarpum.
