Mosses: Another moss needing ID

    I will try to figure this one out.. It is in a very moist area of the yard, growing on rocks.
    I keep posting these with the hope that mosses and ferns forums will materialize.

    Perhaps Helodium paludosum. Not certain about it, but I am expecting a book on mosses in the Northeast US, so that should be helpful.

    @Nik good evening N, we have one here in the UK called Hylocomium splendens. Glittering wood moss. There are similarities, but so many to choose from !!!!
