Some leaves are falling off 5 of my potted Japanese Maples. The temperature has been in the 60's every day and I've been watering them 1-2 times a week when the potting mix feels dry. Does it sound like I'm watering them too much or not enough? Thanks

Hi @SLR2009, IMO you are watering too much. At those temperatures once a week is enough. Maples need to dry out inbetween waterings.

60F is about 15°C. Of course it depends on the size of the pots and whether the rootball fills in the pot, but watering them twice a day is way too often.
