    I have been married to Amanda since 1985 and have three children,Hannah,Robert and Grace. Hannah gave birth to my grand son in january. I live in a town called Irlam which is sandwiched between the Manchester Ship Canal and Chat Moss.

    I have practised Taekwondo since I was 36 but stopped training last summer due partly to my instructor going to work in Spain for a while and partly hip pain. My son , who is about to join the army as a musician, can occasionally get me jogging.
