    Identification: Unknown disease or pest

    Hedges: Arborvitae-Emerald green foliage turning brown

    One of my hedge trees, and my neighbour's tree, both arborvitae (emerald green), are both turning brown.(see photo) Could this be spruce spider...

    Thanks for the ID confirmation. I thought it was a lilac, but I think the flower heads threw me off.The leaves and twigs are very distinctive...
