Many years ago my Parents used to have a plant which grew green glossy leaves which sprouted plantlets all around these leaves could you help me to identify this plant as I would like to obtain another one.

    Thanks

    Sorry,

Yes indoor plant but no picture,
    Grew about a foot tall,
Leaves shiny green up to about four inches long.

    Thanks.

Check the photo. Did it look like this? I also have a picture of the blooms but I do not know what it is called.

Thanks Marn, as soon as I saw your post I remembered the name (picture me slapping myself on the forehead). Like many of the plants in my yard they have become so weedy and commonplace that I forget what they are called. These started out with me picking a leaf from somewhere to show my wife how they grew and now they are in effect a weed in my yard!

The council just gave me a notice to remove them in 30 days!! I don't like them anyway but i told the council that they better remove the ones on THEIR land (nature strip between our house and the road) because i mow it and it spreads into my garden!! Haven't heard a word back from them but THEIR mother of millions is still there!! Anyway had my whinge now..thanks

Exactly Marn...I don't mind a good blue (Aussie talk for a fight) especially with the council!!Maybe i should send them a notice on behalf of the citizens to eradicate this menace in 30 days or they can pay me $400.00 and see how they like it!!!...lol...they obviously don't take noxious weeds seriously. In fact i might ring them now
