    Just a test, reloading the pictures from post #24 after they are modified, to see if the pink comes out better.

    Too bad they ended up on different pages, so are harder to compare.

    I think I found an angle that finally shows off the pink Persicaria longiseta well. Close to sunset time. (Well, close enough.)

    And here is what it looks like from inside our home office room. These very old panels will soon be replaced with a large sliding glass door. It will be more Japanese-like, I think.
    (Windows badly need to be washed, but I am waiting for most migratory birds to be gone. With clean glass we get quite a few flying into it, sometimes with fatal consequences.)
