    Congratulations Alex! Very beautiful. I also managed to get hold of one of these this winter, but you have a better climate. Mine is only just swelling the buds. Griseum is always later here.

    I will post it! Same sort of winter here, actually it never got under 0C! Unusual, but wow a lot of rain.

    Mine is in a pot, have you gone directly to the ground with your Golden Lucky?

    Its amazing that a variegated leaf cultivar of Acer griseum even exists, considering the limited genetic diversity of the available nursey grown trees.

    I currently have an Acer griseum 'Copper Rocket' and planted an Acer griseum 'Fireburst' just yesterday. I would love to have this cultivar as a third, though there probably isn't a single specimen in the USA or Canada.

    If anyone knows how I can obtain one, please let me know.

    In the meantime, please share more pictures @alex66 & @emery !

    The wholesale nursery that developed & grows these cultivars is J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. Some nearby Washington state retail nurseries had them in stock.

    @Worldly_Wrangler thanks for sharing. I checkouted their website. They carry and have produced some very nice stuff. Im so envious of yall on the East Coast.
