Hi. It's huge, about 70' tall.
Whatever it is, I think I'm allergic to it.

    Acer pseudoplatanus, sycamore maple.
You could be allergic to it. The page at Sycamore Maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) Species Details and Allergy Info (pollenlibrary.com) says it's a mild allergen. But there are a LOT of them in Vancouver, so if it's just around this particular location, I'd be inclined to look for something else.
The page at What Types of Pollen-Producing Trees Cause Allergies? (thoughtco.com) doesn't list this species specifically, but it does have an explanation about what causes the allergies and what kinds of trees are likely to be the culprits.

In full agreement with Wendy, Acer pseudoplatanus, sycamore maple. Sorry to hear about your allergies to it, but I believe these only last a short time in Spring. A lovely looking tree though.

Thanks so much. I never saw a maple like that. I'm from Ontario. I suppose I would have guessed once the keys develop. Haha. I hear it's really sappy if you park a car under it.

This is often a mis conception that people think it's the tree, but it is Aphids causing honeydew that you find on the cars.
Look for ants going up and down the trunk, as they love this sweet substance.
