    Acer palmatum 'Ao kanzashi'

    Here is a small Acer palmatum 'Ao kanzashi', grafted in the summer of 2002. the image on the left was made in April 2003. The image to the right was made in June 2003.

    Yes, it is. It was a Brian Upchurch graft that I picked up as a 1 gallon in 2007. Not the brightest for fall color ever, but it's so big now that it makes an impact anyway.
