    Nice find! Looks like a Platanthera, perhaps Platanthera orbiculata.

    And, off to the left, is that the lovely little Fauria crista-galli (Deer Cabbage)?

    Thank you Margot, I have always classed this as grass of Parnassus - I will have to look more closely now LOL!

    Platanthera dilatata is most likely, given the wet and sunny location (Platanthera orbiculata favours shady dry to moderately wet forests).

    Those are Parnassia fimbriata (fringed grass-of-Parnassus) not Nephrophyllidium crista-galli (formerly Fauria), though they do look quite similar. Deer cabbage lacks the fine hairs in the flowers and tends to have petals that are more reflexed, but what also makes this grass-of-Parnassus to me (at a glance) is the long, upright stalk supporting the solitary flower.
