I love Red Dragon. Barthelemys was the only place that lists it in the U.K. and they don’t have stock. Nice pic of your though, thanks

Lol, that's what I thought yesterday. Btw what do you think about the Fujinami Nishiki? The photos shown from sellers are really nice, thats why I went for it. It does glow in the Autumn, so I am glad I have it tbh.

Hi. I first saw it on a video posted by Maple Collector and it was so brightly coloured and variegated. The same with Taimin Nishiki and Rainbow. It is a shame that it doesn’t last but as you say, it is still a very pretty maple.

DHL just delivered, I'm so pleased and they are both so very healthy.
I can not fault the packaging yet again by Hippopotering. I've posted photo of the box so you can see for yourself. Here they are Azuma Murasaki and Hessei.

Now I'm just in the process of making coffee for my wife with cake of course today lol.

@Luke’s Maples, I'm looking forward to seeing yours Luke.

Another shower here, so a few photos plus wildlife in front of my Ariake Nomura, lol. I have Sangu Kaku and Bi-hoo next to each other so the stems look nice in the Winter. Purple ghost and my Zantedeschia are a perfect match for each other 'in my garden'. Autumn moon I cannot believe this year, it's really outdone itself. A good year for Shirasawanum's IMO.
And my favourite above any other 'Ariadne'.

I thought I’d share a few photos of my Ariadne..it was purchased as a 40cm tree, now circa 8/9years on its 1.8m height 2m wide with a 6.5cm trunk and strong calliper root. Pot grown, needs to move on again

Mine were also packaged very well, just like yours. I’m really happy. The Baldsmith is just as pretty as I’d hoped.

Good morning @dicky5ash, what a tree and my favourite maple as well.
That is incredible trunk and caliper size for that age.
Pots are great, but they get so expensive. That's my OAP talking lol.

    Loved the photo from underneath.

Re Baldsmith just you wait till that grows out :)
Was the Extravaganza priced regularly for that sized tree or a premium added? I saw them in Burford when passing through.

They look 'perfect' Luke. Yes Baldsmith is so pretty. Watch out for this wind today and tomorrow though.
Is that it for this year now??

I just did !!!!!! Lol. Now how do I smuggle this one in. Plus another @dicky5ash told me about earlier. Think we might have to create a thread on how to get maples past our partners without them seeing.
I think Luke @Luke's Maples is quite brave how he does it tbh. He just takes it out of the car quite brazingly, lol

The wind has eased a bit at last, so I took these to share. I'm very pleased this season with my Starfish. Plus there is second flush on my English town. Metamorphosa in front of Shirazz, Jordan and Orange Dream is a combination new this season for me. I'm pleased how it's turned out.
Mikawa and Shishi are doing well, so fingers crossed for a good Autumn show. Viridis and Trompenburg are both protected from the wind so are quite happy where they are. Momoiro Koyasan is also starting a second flush, I'm pleased with how it's looking.

I can’t believe you went and got one too lol. It’s actually really pretty. I’d never heard of it till the other day and then it appears in my local garden centre. It was the only one there, and so I had to have it. It looks similar to Lileeanne’s Jewel.

Hi. I got a few of my collection from Burford. It’s very expensive though. It’s a lovely garden centre and Burford itself is very picturesque. It was £19.99 and I think it’s a 3ltr pot so about the going rate I guess.

I think it had better be. I wasn’t exaggerating when I mentioned the telling off. It was a proper bollo**ing! “You can get back in the car with that and take it back!”
