    Hi there,
I am a clinical herbalist based in Vancouver and I am currently working with a small team to create free herbal pandemic support kits. One item we are currently seeking is lemon balm (Melissa officinalis). If you have an abundance of untreated lemon balm in your garden, I would love to come an harvest some!
    Thanks very much,
    Gina

    Hi Gina
I am posting the images of two patches of the plant from different areas. Rubbing the leaves ,gives the same scent. Is this lemon balm ,that you are looking for?

    Hi, Gina.

We don't treat anything in our backyard and we have a LOT of Lemon Balm. I have been separating it, and spreading it around to different locations around the yard. But I am running out of places to put it. In any case, you'd be welcome to harvest some of ours.

    (We are in Coquitlam.)

I call it Lemon Bomb, because once it starts, it explodes.

Unfortunately it would be a little too complicated to send you from Italy.
I agree with you on the "explosion" of Melissa officinalis, it is an absolutely weed plant: I put a small plant purchased in the nursery two years ago to bury it in my flower bed of aromatic herbs and already last year I had it everywhere, even on the edge of the little road outside the gate!
This year is already in bloom and, only in the flowerbed there is a lot!
You will have in large quantities !!!!!
This is just part of the border it created at the edge of the flowerbed!

    Ciao, ciao!!!

I agree w calling it lemon balm ... and also agree it is a weed that takes over at the coast. It seeds freely in shaded damp areas and beyond ... so be careful w this plant as much as it might have perceived helpful attributes
