Apples in the Yukon??!!

    Just had a visit with some folks near Dawson City. I knew that they were growing some really neat stuff, but I thought it was more a proof-of-concept trial. WOW did I get that wrong! Its almost a g d plantation! The website said something like 80 varieties, but in person it was more like 150. Beautiful apples; way nicer than anything I can get from the supertgpasaveonindependent store. Yes I bought a couple of young trees. In my case it will definitely be a proof of concept.
    Not sure of the protocol on posting websites here, but if you giggle klondike and apples I'm pretty sure you'll find them.

    It's fine to link to sites you think will be of interest (for instance, see our Subforums Resources | UBC Botanical Garden Forums pages). What we don't want you to do is to post photos from sites that don't state somehow that permission to use is granted. Even if permission is granted to use photos, usually those sites require you to credit the source.
