    Greetings all,
I just found out about this awesome forum while I was searching for a solution for my problem

I'm not well informed of how to take care of plants and trees but I have a monkey puzzles tree in the yard and I recently started noticing weird things building up on the leaves as well as some dry stuff branches

I honestly have no clue how to treat this or what to do, I hope that someone have a solution for this one.
    Thanks

Don't know what the white is but the tree is not a monkey puzzle, but rather another Araucaria such as A. cunninghamii for instance.

The white stuff appears to be sap. Araucaria species are known to produce a lot of resin. It oozes out to protect areas of damage. Small amounts of it coagulating on the tree are probably not a problem. It could be a response to an insect though.

Thanks for your clarification, as I mentioned before I'm not well informed about it. Maybe I'll read about it more.

Interesting, what do you think I should do, leave it as it is or should I do something about it?

It's not something I am very familiar with. I would probably watch to see if it increases, look close for bugs, and check around with other local people to see if their trees have the same issue.
