These concord grape vine were started in a indoor green house controlled temperature steady around 26 Celsius and were doing fine ! Then I planted them outside. It's either the heat or the wind ? Your thoughts? I got them from a guy that grows these vines,makes wine and sells it . I live near Pincher creek alberta he lives in lethbridge . Which isn't far from here at all.
I see the forecast is for nighttime temps of 2 or 3C. Were you getting those after planting it as well?
How long ago did you move the vines outside? I see that the low at Pincher Creek was 1.1 C on May 28. If they were outside that morning, they could have been damaged by frost. Another possibility is that the leaves might have been damaged by sunburn if the plants were not gradually acclimated to sunshine.
