    Hello

    This came up in a batch of Trillum seed labeled T. ludovicianum. First year blooming. Its gorgeous.

    That is very nice with the purple at the base of the petals.

    Trillium albidum will have some individuals that do that, you can kind of see some here: Pacific Bulb Society | Trillium Species One

    The two species are native to different parts of the continent, though, so what the seed seller has / had in their inventory would help.

    The seed came from the AGC of BC`s exchange. I`m not complaining as often unexpected treasures do pop up. It is lovely and, with the help of a fine artist`s brush, will get some seed to sow in the fall.
