Double form Bloodroot blossom this year. (Sanguinaria canadensis multiplex) I thought they were native in the East coast and I worry about Vancouver's weather is hard for them. So I try to get another two different plants to grow together. The result shows they like the way to live here. I got 12 flowers this year, more 8 flowers than 2015. I'll try to make more different combination this Autumn.
Interesting, here in the ground they doubled each year for a few years, then quit increasing. I guess the nutrients were used up. They have been quite hardy. I'll try fertilizing a little, thank you.
You are very welcome. Due to I plan to move out from here years later. So I plant most of my green friends in pots. Pots' nutrients is limited. That's why I feed them a little bit fertilizer. Is that possible they stop to increase is because they need more space? I divide them every two years. I grow bloodroot from one.
I think they could use a little compost or fertilizer to keep multiplying here, and less competition from any moss.
